On a rainy evening in Manchester we took a taxi from our hotel (Holiday Inn - Manchester West) to as near as traffic jams allowed, and walked the rest of the way.

Our seats in the Etihad Stadium were right at the back, way up high (and that was booking 1 day prior general ticket release!)

The pitch was filling up with people and by showtime was pretty much full all the way to the back.

Springsteen came on to huge applause just after 7:30, and launched into Badlands.

The sound was very good, the show was very long, but very entertaining.

The rain was intermittent (though we were dry, but cold, as it was more like a winter evening than June). We left slightly early  but only missed the last 2 songs.

The advantage was we jumped straight into a taxi waiting up the road and was straight back to the hotel with no delays. 15 mins later I am sure it would have been quite different as 60,000 people streamed out the stadium!

A good night, and value for money as it was well over 3 hours.
